Board of Trustees
Welcome to the Charter Township of Clinton
We hope you enjoy our Township as much as we enjoy serving the community. We always look forward to seeing you at our events and meetings, and we thank you for your support.
Townships in Michigan
Michigan's townships are the form of government closest to the people. Elected township leaders are truly "neighbors serving neighbors," offering accountable, effective, and efficient representation and services to their residents.
What Townships Do
State law mandates three township functions: property assessment, tax collection, and election administration. In accordance with their community's wants and needs, townships can perform many other functions, such as planning and zoning, public safety, and parks and recreation.
